A few of my favorite things: AF NIKKOR 28-85mm 1:3.5-4.5

A camera lens is a thing of perscision, beatuy, mastery. A tool used to translate the light around us. The first piece fo glass I saw this in  was the AF NIKKOR 28-85mm 1:3.5-4.5 . Its bulky wieght balances against my D70 perfectly. It’s rubber grip turns flawlessy and it keeps your hands still and steady. It has been my primary lens (even theought it shouldn’t) or 5 years and counting. I use it everywhere, personal or commeical, I carry it with me, ready to mount. It’s obviously not the greates lens ever made, but it feels alot like home.

P.S

Im sure Ken Rockwell, wrote somthing about it
